Take the required courses. With college credit, you only need the following four courses; without college credit, you need six courses total and you can choose any two additional courses.

• Law of Contracts

• Law of Agency

• Principles 1

• Principles 2

Send in the Evaluation of Education Document to TREC with your real estate course certificates and, if applicable, your transcript from college.

3.

Receive a letter from TREC which states you may now send the salesperson's application to TREC.

4.

Take a Prep Course.   This takes the guesswork and stress out of testing.   You will have practice tests that cover math and terminology similar to the state test.

5.

Receive your Candidate Information Brochure (CIB) in the mail from TREC allowing you to schedule your State Exam.

6.

.Make an appointment at the PSI Examination Services testing facility nearest you. PSI 1-800-7339276

7.

 Take the State Exam.

8.

License arrives in the mail to your Sponsoring Broker’s office.
